In this continuing post, you will learn the step-by-step guide to finding organic keywords from Google Webmaster tools so that you can include them in your website and drive more traffic.

1. Step-by-step guide to finding organic keywords

As mentioned a lot of times, conducting keyword research is the most foundational step to boost your website’s on-page SEO. This is because potential customers or partners may find your post or products whenever they type a similar keyword on the search engines.

For this reason, your online business may not be found on the internet if you don’t research to find profitable keywords and include them in one of your posts.

With Google Webmaster tools, you can take advantage of this brilliant platform to highlight both short and long-tail keywords, where users most search on the internet. The following are steps to identify the profitable keyword:

Step one: go to the Google console platform and navigate to performance. From there you can monitor your site’s SEO performance based on average position and the number of user clicks.

Step two: as you can see in the screenshot above, there is a list containing thousands of long-tail keywords on the platform, which indicate the two main key metrics: the number of clicks o each keyword and impressions.

In this case scenario, your job is to highlight the most popular and relevant organic keywords, which you believe would add more value to your content quality.

Step three: after identifying a list of keywords, I suggest you write them down on a piece of paper or Google Docs because you will use those profitable long-tail keywords on different pages and posts.

Step four: choose the most relevant keywords and include them in one of your posts. You will not notice a massive gain in traffic, but over the long term, it will yield a return on investment in terms of boosting your site’s on-page SEO, and your site may attract more traffic.

Keep in mind that do not aggressively display too many or repetitive keywords on the same page because it may violate the policy guidelines of Google. Thus, the best approach is to naturally include keywords on your post and repeat a maximum of 3 times.

In addition, you should take the advantage of Google Trends to search for the popular and trending topic associated with your niche. For this reason, it would save you a lot of time to figure out the targeted keywords using keyword research tools like Google keyword planner or KWFinder.

2. Add FAQs Rich Snippet

If you want to make money from blogging, the most effective way is to concentrate on bringing more traffic to your site by constantly delivering high-quality and original content.

Site owners must put themselves in the audience’s perspective so that they can continue to create useful content to help them solve their problems and improve their general knowledge.

The more useful information included in your post such as meta description, meta tag, FAQs rich snippet, the better chance your site may rank higher on search engines and generate more traffic.

In particular, FAQs rich snippets will provide additional information based on the ask-and-answer question model, which will further help readers and customers to familiarize themselves with certain topics.

For example, your site will have a competitive advantage over other competitors when you implement the FAQs-rich snippet on your post. It’s because whenever they ask questions on search engines, your site could appear first due to the appropriate answer to their questions.

Here are some of the FAQs plugins you may consider using on your WordPress blog to increase the rich result on search engines: Yoast SEO and Structured Content.

3. Monitor and fix any issues on Google Search Console

The most effective approach to maintain the competitiveness of your site SEO is to monitor the performance as well as any related health issues so that you or you or web developers can take immoderate actions to fix the problem as soon as possible.

As you can see in the screenshot above, I indicated several key areas that need to pay attention to on your site’s daily performance, average position, and any major issues related to side speed or securities.

  • Keep an eye on the alarm bell on the right-hand side of the platform, Google console will notify users immediately when they find there are any issues, and it also tells you if you successfully fixed problems.
  • Check on the pages section to highlight if there are any issues with indexed pages. It’s essential to get indexed by Google in order to appear on the platform search engine.
  • Keep tabs on Page experience: the core web vitals are a super important factor in SEO optimization because your site may get ranked higher if pass core web vitals for mobile and desktop.
  • Check on the manual actions: check if there are any penalties and security issues- so you need to take immediate action to fix those issues otherwise, your whole website SEO will have a negative impact in terms of ranking and dropping in traffic.

Google Search Console is a brilliant free SEO tool, which I believe every site owner and webmaster must use to monitor the overall performance of their websites in terms of average position checks and other health issues.

In addition, bloggers can take advantage of this platform to highlight popular and common search long tail keywords, which they may include in one of their posts naturally.
